Minutes from the April 3, 2023 meeting
Present: Keith Hyatt, Ted Allen, Tom Allmaras, Robert Presher, Nick Noyes & Taytum Allen.
Report Guests Present: Joey Peutz & Teresa Allen
Guests: Scott, Michelle & Katrina Windom & Ryan Hill
Minutes: Robert made the motion to approve the minutes from the March 6, 2023 meeting. Taytum 2nd the motion. Motion passed.
Financial Report: Ted made the motion to approve the financial statement. Nick 2nd the motion. Motion passed.
FFA Report: No report
4-H Report: Number of 4H beef is 35. April 22 is swine weigh ins. April 8 is Animal Science in 4-H Bldg.
Market Sale Report: Presented the board with the final breakdown of the sale for 2022. Have 1 outstanding bill to collect on. Closed the books for the year 2022.
Rodeo Board: Getting a quote to get drain pipe for irrigation installation (approx.. 500’). Girls rodeo on April 8.
Received a letter from VFW for sponsorship. Also letter from the auditor for the cost for the next 3 years for our audit. 2023 = $3150, 2024 = $3200 & 2025 = $3450.
Old Busines:
1. Buildings – Will be starting on the installation of the air/heat unit in the commercial bldg. on Monday April 10. Put tank on N side of Com’l bldg. along the fence. Received the corrected quotes on the air/heat for the office and air for the 4-H bldg. Tom had some kids that needed community service. They caulked the cracks In the 4-H bldg, kitchen area and hallway to bathrooms. Received quotes for new lighting in 4-H bldg. and possibly barns. Approximately $2700 plus labor. Troy Meckert would like to buy some material to fix wash racks in order to make it easier to clean them. Approximate cost would be $1000.
Ted made the motion to approve the installation of air/heat in the office and the 4-H bldg.. Also to replace the lighting but not to exceed $6000 and for Troy to purchase the materials he needs to repair the wash racks not to exceed the $1000.00. Tom 2nd the motion. Motion passed.
